This picture shows another one of the glamourous costumes of the carnival. These costumes use peacock feathers, and are quite intricate in their designs. This costume will not be seen in the parade, but will be seen in clubs that hold carnival competitions for glamour and originality.

This picture shows some of the more revealing costumes that you will see during the Carnival parades. Brazilians are quite open-minded and care free about showing off their bodies, especially during the carnival. It is very common to see girls with similar costumes to this, as well as many costumes that reveal women’s upper body. Carnival is a time for excitement, dancing, partying, and entertaining!

This is a picture of a woman who is competing in another aspect of the carnival. This is not part of the parade, this is another event during the carnival celebration that happens in ball rooms of clubs, or hotels. During one of these shows, you will see 2 different kinds of competitions. One is the glamour side, and this is where you will see people dressed in huge fancy costumes that look almost like a mini float. The other side of the competition involves the creative side. Here you will see people with crazy outfits performing dances. Carnival is all about creativity, and entertainment!
