Brazil is a diverse country home to 180 million people from a number of different ethnic backgrounds, most of whom are native Brazilians. The predominant language in Brazil is Portuguese, however many Brazilians are somewhat comfortable with English. If speaking English with a Brazilian pay very close attention, it's sometimes difficult to understand, but they are excited to try. The ability to speak English is seen as a valuable talent indeed.
