Carmo Park is another leisure and sport recreation option for those living in or visiting

Brazil. Carmo Park covers an area of 383 acres (155 hectares) and is surrounded by Atlantic Forest. There's a small portion of this land that's preserved from public access to preserve its beauty. The park is located in the neighborhood of Itaquera and is open daily from 6 am to 6 pm, at no charge.

There are many things you can do in Carmo Park, including jogging, walking, relaxing, biking, watching concerts, bringing the kids to play or simply visiting to appreciate the refreshing sights and smell of nature.
The facilities that you'll find at Carmo Park are a theater, playgrounds, two different areas reserved for concerts and presentations, barbecue areas, snack bars, bathrooms, gymnastic equipment, soccer field, biking track, and a jogging track.
In addition to all these facilities, Carmo Park has 7 different lakes, with many species of fish, and numerous species of plants and animals. The park area is very clean and safe. You can enjoy the outdoors, get close to the animals, exercise, and even ride your bike in a safe environment.
So many different types of plants and trees surround Carmo Park. Trails throughout the park are available for visitors to explore, with maps available indicating where trails are located.
