Prainha Beach
Rio Beaches
Prainha, or "Little Beach", is a gorgeous beach located in the
Barra da Tijuca area of
Rio de Janeiro.
It's a small little beach squished between the ocean and the mountains. It's extremely popular with surfers, and during the weekends it's very crowded. Production crews regularly film parts for Brazilian soap operas here because of Prainha's natural beauty.

Grumari,
is only accessible by car, and because of it's popularity I'd recommend visiting on a weekday.
