Maracana Stadium

Location

Maracana Stadium is located in the north zone, just outside Quinta da Boa Vista Park in Rio Janeiro. The stadium is visible from the Christ and Sugar Loaf Mountain.

Maracana is very accessible by car, during my experience I took a taxi which took me right to the doors. While the taxi waited outside, I took a look around the stadium. I was able to go into the dressing rooms, and walk all around the bleachers. During my visit there was nothing happening in the stadium so it was quite open, making me feel so little because it is such a huge place.
