The Brasilia Television Tower is considered the 4th tallest tower in the world, standing 735 feet (224 meters) high. The Tower is located in the center of the city, and because of its height it's a hard building to miss. At the top of this tower you can enjoy a sensational panoramic view of the entire city. Also located inside the tower at the 25 meter mark you'll find the
National Museum of Gems,
this museum has precious stones and gems on display from around the world.

During the weekends, you can shop at the
feirinhas
which are located at the bottom of the tower. The ferinha, or as we would call it "street market" has cheap food, clothing, souvenirs, and more.
At the time of writing the hours of operation are from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, and 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
