Brazil Nightlife

Nightlife Tips

When going to the bars in Brazil, it's common to see a different price for men, than for women. Normally the women pay less than the men. You may see many fliers saying (Woman) Mulher: $10 (Man) Homem: $15. It's also common to have the choice to pay more money (and receive a certain number of "free" drinks) or pay less money just to enter. They will then give you a card, and with this card you will receive the amount of free drinks.

Another interesting difference that I noticed while enjoying the Brazil nightlife was when you enter into a bar, you are given a card. On this card they will write down your name. It is extremely important that you don’t lose this card because it is how you exit the bar. The card is like money while you are in the bar. If you order a drink, you give the bartender your card and they write down what you ordered - instead of paying right away. At the end of the night when you're ready to go you will give them your card. They will then count how much money you owe and you pay before you leave.

Recife Hotels

Recife is a very modern city and home to more than 2 million people. At night this city comes alive with an amazing nightlife, which is to be expected in a city of this size. For tourists, however, this isn't the safest city in Brazil, as such visitors usually stick to the beach district of Boa Viagem and Olinda.
