Besides Carnival, Brazil Beaches and Barbecue Restaurants, Brazil has a very religious and historical side that are also worth to be visited. If you enjoy seeing old churches with amazing architecture, museums with the history of the country, or even monuments that are really famous all around the world, you will also find it in Brazil.
A lot of people have heard about the Statue of the Christ located in Rio de Janeiro. This Statue is located in the top of a mountain called Corcovado and it symbolizes that Christ is holding and blessing the city and all of the people that goes there to visit this gorgeous monument. I have being there a couple of times and I always feel a lot of good energy coming from the atmosphere of that place.

Brazil is a very attractive country because of its amazing beaches. Brazil is a country where 9 out of 12 months of the year it is summer time. For this reason the beaches in Brazil are always busy and they have a lot to offers to its visitors.
For example, you can buy exotic drinks from one of the Beach Vendors that are circulating all day around the beach bringing fresh food and drink for very affordable prices, or you can learn how to play foot-volley and Frescobol, two unique brazilian sports practiced by a lot of people at the beach.
The first one you play with a soccer ball and a volleyball net, you can use all the parts of your body to touch the ball except your hands and arms. The second one consist in two people with paddles hitting a little ball back in forth and having as a goal not let the ball drop. You can also get a really good tan while swimming or surfing in the warm water of the Atlantic Ocean.

Churrascarias or Barbecue restaurants are really popular in Brazil. These restaurants offer you several different kinds of meat that are served directly to your plate. The servers are constantly bringing you hot and tender meat that are cut into slices as big as you want.
In your table you have this card with 2 colours, red and green. If you leave the green side exposed it means you still want more food, but as soon as you turn to the red side the serves will know you need a break or you are satisfied.
You will normally spend around 2 hours in restaurants like that, the meat is extremely good that you will want to go there several times while visiting Brazil.

If you are thinking about going to Brazil, I would highly recommend that you include a visit to Brasilia on your route trip. The population of Brasilia is just over 2 million, which is quite a lot less than Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo. In Brasilia there are many leisure options and beautiful architecture to see while visiting the Capital of Brazil.
Brasilia is a different Brazilian tourist destination. There you will be able to see a lot about the history of Brazil, and as well the fancy Brazilian government buildings. A lot of the buildings in the city of Brasilia were specially designed by the famous architect - Oscar Niemayer in order to make Brasilia a very different and original city in the world.
During the afternoon, you will be able to present the beautiful sunset in one of the many tourists attractions spread out throughout the city. The Stained Glasses churches, governments buildings, historical monuments, television tower, Botanical Garden, Brasilia City Park and Zoo, are some of the most popular locations in the city. With a large green area, fresh pure air and good climate during all year, makes Brasilia a really enjoyable city to be visited while exploring the natural beauties of Brazil.

The Congresso Nacional was designed as a government building by Oscar Niemeyer. It currently houses the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. The Congresso Nacional is located at Praca dos Tres Poderes and its beauty is truly spectacular.
The shape of the building looks like an H representing a human being standing up. In the National Congress is where most of the politic decisions involving Brazil’s future happen. In this picutre you can see one of the attractions that are worth to be seen when visiting the Capital of Brazil, Brasilia.
