Brazil Honeymoon

Your Question

I am planning my honeymoon to Brazil for August 2006 and wondered if you would be able to help out with some of my queries.

At the moment I am not having too much luck finding reasonable tailored holiday packages and is there any company you would recommend? We are hoping to stay in Rio, the Igazu falls and Fernando de Noronha. We also want to see if it will be more economical to buy a Brazilian air pass to travel between these 3 places but cannot find any reliable information on this, can you help?

Thank you for taking the time to visit www.cities-in-brazil.com, I’ll try to answer your question as best I can.

Brazil does have nicely tailored holiday packages, but they’re just a little harder to find than holiday packages for destinations such as Mexico or Hawaii. To answer your question I reviewed what some of our partners have to offer in the way of vacation packages; I found that Discount Fares has a 3 night package in Rio de Janeiro starting from $199 per person. It may be that Discount Fares can also arrange a package for you to Iguassu Falls and Fernando de Noronha; also Discount Fares specializes in discount airfare and should be able to offer you a Brazilian air pass of some sort.

Alternatively you could also check out TravelNow, they have a great many hotels you can choose from and their website is easy to navigate. Unfortunately though these aren’t holiday packages, but you might use Discount Fares to book a Rio de Janeiro package, then book individual hotels for the remainder of your holiday. My fiancee and I did something similar when we traveled to England a few years back. Here are some links for two of the three cities you’re interested in:
