Where to stay in Rio de Janeiro during Carnaval

Where is the best place for a single man to stay in Rio?
What 4 days in February is Carnival celebrated?
Are there any all inclusive vacation packages to Rio?

I would highly recommend staying along either Copacabana beach or Ipanema Beach. Both beaches are very long in that you would not want to be staying at the very end and need to walk or taxi just to get to the other side. By staying near Arpoador beach, you will be close to all 3 beaches. Arpoador is located right in the middle of Ipanema and Copacabana. If you hear anything about posts, this is telling you what point you are located at the beach. I would recommend staying anywhere near posts 5,6,7 which are all located at one end of Copacabana, or posts 10,11, or 12 on Ipanema.
Carnaval is to be happening Feb 24th -28th. There are many packages that you can find regarding Carnaval. I would recommend going to a local travel agent or following some of the links we provide on our page to get you in touch with the right people who will give you the information you need about prices, and what the packages include. Hurry and book it, because Carnaval is approaching and you don’t want to miss out on the biggest party of the year.
