In this picture you can see Capoeiristas during their ?Ginga? which is the most basic movement of Capoeira. You also see some of them holding the instruments to play the music of Capoeira. The two instruments showed in this picture are Berimbau and Atabaque. Berimbau is really associated with Capoeira and it looks like a bowl shaped instrument attached by a string loop to a gourd. Atabaque is an Afro-Brazilian drum that has a medium sound.
