Guaruj? is approximately one hour, or 53 miles (85 km), from the city of S?o Paulo. Guaruj? is incredibly crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, because it's the closest coastal town for S?o Paulo residents. The most popular beach in Guaruj? is Pitangueiras. If you are travelling to Brazil, don't forget to visit Guaruja :)
